By holding a fundraiser for Daily Bread, you'll help ensure that our neighbours experiencing food insecurity across the city can continue to access fresh, nutritious food. 

Here’s why your support is so important right now:

• After they’ve paid for housing, the average food bank client has $8.01 left per day to cover all other expenses – including food – making it impossible for them to stock the recommended supply of provisions for their family. 

• We're seeing an alarming rise in food bank usage, with  nearly 2 million visits to Toronto food banks in 2022 alone. 

• This is the highest number ever recorded in the city's history, and a 42% increase over the previous year.

• We are now serving nearly 15,000 new clients each month, 7 times more than before the pandemic in 2019.
