Now more than ever, the Daily Bread Food Bank needs your help.

2020 has been a difficult year for everyone but those most impacted in our city are the growing number of people experiencing food insecurity including the recently unemployed.  Since COVID-19 Toronto Food Banks have seen a dramatic increase in use including a 200% increase in new clients and increase of weekly visits from 15,000 visits/week prior to COVID-19 to an all time high of 27,500 visits/week in October 2020.

As Food Banks are seeing this unprecedented demand for their services the limitations of COVID-19 mean that they are at a diminished capacity to fulfill against them. The #kindnessiscontagious campaign is intended to help fill this gap through community organizing of both corporate and individual action.
