Fundraising Goal for U ofT Simcoe Hall Community: $4,000

Now more than ever, we need your help.

Although a sense of normalcy is slowly returning to our city, for the tens of thousands of individuals living in poverty, the reality is very different.

This past year, there were almost 1.7 million food bank visits in Toronto, the highest number ever recorded in the city's history. 

With food bank visits reaching unprecedented levels, it's more important than ever to ensure that our neighbours experiencing hunger can continue to access fresh, nutritious food.

That's why the U of T Simcoe Hall community is holding a fundraiser (December 1–20) to support Daily Bread Food Bank. Our goal is to raise at least $4,000 and we need your help.

Did you know that after they've paid for housing, the average food bank client has $8.01 left per day? That's $8.01 to cover all other expenses – including food – making it impossible for them to stock the recommended supply of provisions for their family.
