Over the past year, there were nearly 3.5 million food bank visits in Toronto, the highest number ever recorded in the city's history. 1 in 10 people in Toronto are now relying on food banks – twice as many as the year before.

Did you know that after they've paid for housing, the average food bank client has $7.78 left per day? That's $7.78 to cover all other expenses – including food – making it impossible for them to stock the recommended supply of provisions for their family.
