Canstruction Toronto has been a strong supporter of the Daily Bread Food Bank for the last 21 years. Over the last 20 years, the Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Design industry in Toronto has raised over 1,000,000lbs of food donations through our annual competition. Our typical competition includes designing and constructing amazing structures using food cans. However, due to the current situation we had to make the difficult decision to cancel our event for this year. Despite this, Canstruction Toronto is hoping to still raise funds for the Daily Bread Food Bank. We are asking for the generosity of the entire A/E/C and design industry in Toronto to help in supporting our local community.  

Daily Bread serves some of the city’s most vulnerable populations including seniors, children and people living with disabilities. Your donations will ensure that these communities can access vital food and supplies during this difficult time. 

Health Canada has issued a statement encouraging Canadians to set aside a week's supply of food, medicine and other household supplies. Unfortunately, this is not an option for Canadians who rely on food banks, many of whom have less than $8 per day to pay for their living expenses, including food and transportation, after rent is paid.

Tax receipts are automatically issued for donations of $10 or more.
