The Rouge National Urban Park (RNUP) Holiday Food Drive, organized by your Park Wardens, is back for its second year! Last year RNUP staff collected food in support of Feed the Need Durham. This year, Park Wardens will be collecting food and monetary donations in support of Daily Bread Food Bank. As RNUP staff find themselves in new work arrangements, this hybrid fundraiser approach will provide all staff the opportunity to support the RNUP Holiday Food Drive from wherever they are.

With a 200% increase in new clients accessing food banks across the city since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Daily Bread needs our help now, more than ever.

I hope you will join me in supporting our neighbours who are experiencing hunger - including the 33% of food bank clients who are children and youth.

Every $36 raised provides a family of four with food for three days’ worth of meals.

Donations of $10 or more will automatically get a tax receipt.
